Cullpack Support

Email hello@patelinasol.com. We usually reply within two business days.

It helps if you tell us your iPhone model, the iOS version, the app version (the "i" button on the start screen), and what you did just before the problem. The app sends us nothing by itself, so we only know what you tell us.

Common questions

Where do the photos I discard go?

Into a folder named _to_delete inside the folder you are culling. Nothing is deleted. You can move a file back with the Files app.

How do I free the space?

The app never empties _to_delete. When you are sure, delete that folder yourself in the Files app.

I swiped the wrong way.

Use Undo on the swipe screen. Your progress is saved after every swipe, so you can close the app and continue later.

Does the app need an internet connection?

No. Everything runs on the phone, and the app makes no network request.

How do I remove the face data?

On the people screen, open the "…" menu and choose "Clear face data…". Your photos are not touched. The same menu lets you analyse the folder again.

Someone was put in the wrong group.

On the people screen you can merge groups, move photos between people in bulk, and assign "Unsorted" photos by hand. Grouping by clothing only works within one day and when people are not dressed alike.

The link will not open for the other person.

Check that both devices are on the same Wi-Fi, or that they joined your iPhone's Personal Hotspot, and that Cullpack is open with the screen on. Some public Wi-Fi networks do not let devices reach each other; use Personal Hotspot instead. If it still fails, look in Settings, Privacy & Security, Local Network and check that the app has not been turned off.

Which files does it read?

JPG, HEIC, RAW and video are previewed. Videos are not grouped by person and stay in "Unsorted".

Can I use it with an SD card?

Yes. Connect the card with a reader and choose the folder in the Files picker. The app's files are written next to the photos, so the card can be continued on another device.

What does it store, and where?

See the privacy policy.
